Questions before you start?
Is it easy to use if I have no drawing experience?
Yes. You do not need professional drawing skills. Combine ready-made stamps, or turn an image into a line-art stamp when the generation service is available, then add your own marks. The Color tool puts color beneath the linework so it does not cover the outlines. Auto-smooth is on by default and softens small wobbles after each drawn stroke. Start with a shape and a few colors, and make it yours.
Do we need to be online together?
Reveal together starts only once both people arrive. If your schedules differ, choose Pass it on so the next person can draw later.
Can I draw on my phone?
Yes. Draw with one finger; zoom and pan with two. Focus mode hides extra panels to give your canvas more room.
Will this place a real order or charge me?
Trying the canvas and creating together are free. You are charged only after you choose to open checkout, confirm the product and price, and complete payment.
What is WE DREW IT?
WE DREW IT is an online drawing website. Draw on your own or invite friends, your partner or family to create together with brushes, colors and stamps. If you love the finished artwork, you can choose to make it a T-shirt. You do not have to buy anything to enjoy drawing.
Do I need to download an app or sign up to draw?
No. Open WE DREW IT in a browser on your phone, tablet or computer to start drawing, without installing an app or creating an account first. Friends can join using the invite link provided in your studio.
How can we draw together from different places?
Choose a mode, create a studio and send the other person the invite link provided there. They can open it and follow the steps to join on their own device. Choose Draw together to draw at the same time, or Pass it on to take turns on one shared artwork when your schedules differ.
How do I turn my drawing into a T-shirt?
Finish your artwork, preview it on a T-shirt and use the order option on the completion page. Follow the steps to choose your product, size and quantity and enter your shipping details. If the page directs you to Etsy, include your artwork code as instructed. Available products, delivery destinations and the final total are shown on the relevant purchase page. Ordering is optional.
Can I draw on my own?
Yes. Use the solo drawing option on the homepage without inviting anyone or waiting for a partner. Doodle, combine stamps and add color at your own pace. Turning the finished artwork into a T-shirt is entirely up to you.
What drawing modes are there, and how many people can join?
Draw together supports 1–4 people, drawing solo or at the same time. Reveal together is for 2 people who draw separately, then reveal their work together. Pass it on lets 2–30 people take turns on one artwork without being online at the same time. Draw as a team supports 2–40 people, each drawing in their own area to create one shared artwork.
Do I need a drawing tablet or stylus?
No special equipment is required. Use a mouse on your computer, or your finger on a phone or tablet, to draw, place stamps and add color. If you prefer a stylus, you can use one supported by your device and browser, but it is optional.
Can I come back to an unfinished studio drawing?
Yes. The studio saves automatically while connected; wait for the saved status before leaving. Without signing in, return through the recent canvases in the same browser while the room is still valid. Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove that local way back. To find your work across devices, sign in and confirm it is saved to your account. Editing still depends on the room status and the rules of the drawing mode.
